Lyse has entered an agreement on selling Måkaknuten wind power plant (66MW) to Norsk Vind Energi AS. The agreement contains a transitional period where Norsk Vind Energi and Lyse will cooperate on the further development of the project.

Måkaknuten vindkraftverk was granted a concession in 2012 and is a part of Bjerkreimsklyngen. Norsk Vind Energi is the largest owner in Bjerkreimsklyngen, with the wind projects Bjerkreim, Gravdal and Skinansfjellet.

Norsk Vind Energi plan to develop and build Måkaknuten wind power plant, together with the other projects they own in the area. The construction is expected to be initiated in the second half of 2017. This will contribute to strengthen Norsk Vind Energi’s position as the largest private-owned wind power developer in Norway, with more than 2 TWh of wind power under construction in 2017.

Lyse and Norsk Vind Energi look forward to the further collaboration on Måkaknuten wind power plant.
